Digital Companions – AXTO and XAA, Introduced Openly as Our Own
CRONE is about living the second half of life with character, curiosity and a little nerve. Many of our readers are writing memoirs, running small businesses, learning new skills or keeping a scattered family close. Technology can help with all of that — when it is kind to your time and careful with your privacy. On this page we introduce two projects that belong to the same publisher as CRONE. That makes this a promotion of our own work, and we would rather you knew that from the first sentence.
AXTO: a calm, private place to work with AI
AXTO gathers several artificial-intelligence tools under one account. Three of them suit the way many of our readers live:
For the memoir in the drawer. In AI Studio you can upload pages of your life story and ask for gentle suggestions: a clearer order for your chapters, questions that might unlock more memories, or a tidy transcript of a voice recording. You can even put the same request to several AI models and compare their replies side by side. Your words remain yours; the tool simply helps you shape them.
For family letters and paperwork. Privacy Vault finds names, addresses, dates of birth and account numbers in documents and blacks them out — on your own device — before anything is shown to an AI. That makes it safer to ask for help understanding a pension letter or a long insurance renewal. (For decisions about money, health or law, please still speak to a qualified adviser.)
For the grandchildren's videos. Clipper turns an hour of birthday-party footage into short, captioned clips, again on your own device, so private family moments are never uploaded anywhere.
AXTO works with your own AI key and only passes requests along; in Local Mode the AI runs entirely on your computer. The interface is available in English and nine other languages.
XAA: a website that looks the way you hoped
Perhaps you have started a small business in later life — a dressmaking studio, a coaching practice, holiday lets, handmade jewellery — or you would like a beautiful, private website for your family history. XAA is a European web development studio that builds sites and platforms to order:
- an elegant website that tells your story and shows your work;
- an online shop or booking system with secure payments;
- members' areas, client portals and larger platforms when you are ready to grow.
Projects are split into milestones, each agreed, delivered and paid for separately by PayPal, bank transfer or USDT, so you never pay for work you have not seen. If you would like to begin quickly and affordably, there are ready-made templates to adapt with your own photographs and colours.
Our editorial promise
CRONE's articles are written independently. We do not accept payment to recommend products, and nothing in our beauty, style, wellbeing, home or travel guides was written because of AXTO or XAA. If one of these companions makes your days a little easier, we shall be delighted; if not, there is plenty more to enjoy in our chapters.
